Dried Flower Nail Art

So apparently, if you aren’t done with Summer, then these are the nails to have, I present to you Dried Flower Nail Art…

I can remember working with dried flowers many many years ago…

The gel company that I used to work with, had stacks and stacks of this dried flower nail art around…

As they are dried, the flowers last for such a long time and because they were so tiny, simply purchasing one pot, would last you ages…

Because there were so many little flowers that you got, people never really ran out…

I think as well, not a lot of people know exactly how to use them, which is probably why we never sold out…

They used to be quite tricky to work with and it’s only really having experience working with gel and trial and error that I managed it…

Most people wouldn’t bother with trial and error, which is also probably why the poor little dried flowers never took off…

Looking around social media, it seems a lot of nail techs have managed to make wonderful creations, just like @a.nail01 over on instagram…

What I found was, that you can’t set it in wet gel, because it would lose it’s colour quite quickly…

I found that applying the flower onto the cured, sticky layer and patting it down…

And once you got the design you want, once you paint over it with gel you need to cure it very quickly…

Think of it like paper towel, the longer it has contact with the wet surface, the quicker it will get saturated and ruin the flower…

Obviously, this can only be done if you know how to do gel nails at home…

If you don’t then you are in luck, because I am launching a gel course, that the home user can do…

This will be available over in my Members Area very shortly, so be sure to create an account if you haven’t already…

You can do this via this link Handhold Beauty Members Area
