Dry Cuticles Are The Worst

When you have doing nails as long as I have, you will know that no matter how lovely your nails may look, dry cuticles will ruin the whole look!..

Now what sometimes happens, often in a salon, is that in order to sort that, the cuticles will be removed. This neatens up the overall appearance and you (or the client) can leave with their manicure looking good…

I know what it’s like working in a salon, I used to do it a while back. The pressure to get your client’s nails done in the allocated time, while your next one might arrive early (or late), all while trying to do your best and provide somewhat of a relaxing experience…needless to say – it can be stressful…

I understand why shortcuts are used – it’s often better to do something, than nothing at all…

The problem that occurs, is that on the next visit by that client, this cuticle trimming will need to occur again. The cuticles aren’t really being treated, they are basically having a temporary practice, to deal with next time…

What happens over time, after repeated cutting, the cuticles become more hard and dry over time. It’s a cycle that will continue until it is fixed…

So what can be done? The answer involves you…

It is down to you to take control of your own care and be aware of what is actually occurring. With this knowledge, you can prevent the wool being pulled over your eyes…

I’m certainly not saying that it is your nail technician that is to blame – because she is only doing what she can in the time allocated. By improving your dry cuticles and having easy, cared for cuticles, will not only improve her work (if you go to the salon) but also leave you with cuticles that won’t need cutting…

So where can you get this information? Well I have actually put together an entire video course, all to do with the correct care for your cuticles…

The good news is that this is all for free and you can access if via my Members Area…

You might be wondering, why am I offering this. Well I used to get so many questions about cuticle care. “Do I cut my cuticles?”… “What is the best cuticle remover?”… “What cuticle oil should I use?”… and it became clear to me, that there was a lot of information out there, but nothing concise…

Having great cuticles should be for everyone – it not only improves whatever manicure you have, but also improves the quality of your nails. So regardless of whether you go to the salon or you do your own nails – this will help…
