Golden Globes Red Carpet Nails

So – January doesn’t just bring the start of the new year, it also brings with it awards season! I do love film and tv, so seeing who is awarded for their amazing performances is lovely to see, of course, but I am also here for the red carpet…

It’s always great to see how all the celebrities dress up for the occasion (who doesn’t love a fun occasion). I get to see what they wear and also more importantly, what they will be wearing on their nails (duh ha ha)…

Often seeing what they wear on their nails, gives me ideas of pairing nail colours with clothes and also a look into what is likely to be popular in the upcoming trends…

When I have the time,I look through all the images to see what the photographers were able to capture, but sometimes the photos aren’t always that close, so I can’t always see exactly what they are wearing on their nails….

Other times, they get these great close up photos and I can even tell what kind of product they are wearing. It does take a bit of time, to look through the images I can find, but most of the time I can certainly get some good ones…

This year, Olivia Coleman opted for no enhanced nail treatment, but rather just lovely manicured nails. For a nail nerd like me, it was interesting to see Jennifer Anniston and Cate Blanchett, both went for clear gel manicures…

So then comes the question – how to do a clear gel manicure?..
