It’s time to LOVE your gel manicure
Having worked in a salon, I would have to do the odd regular manicure on my nail clients…
I was predominantly a gel nail technician, so the majority of my clients would be booked for that…
However, when I had a new or passing client who simply wanted a manicure, then I would get out my regular nail polish…
Now having trained professionally, I did have to complete manicure training as part of it, so could offer the service…
So while I was taking my time to apply the polish, I would be thinking…it’s such a shame this manicure isn’t going to last very long…
I mean I’ve literally seen clients paying the fee at the end and their nails are already dented…
Now of course, I would prepare my client before, so that she wouldn’t have to dig in her bag for her purse or even her keys…but accidents do happen…
It’s simply because of the nature of nail polish – it just takes time to dry…
I couldn’t do very much about this, when it came to passing clients, I didn’t have the opportunity to gradually advise them on alternatives
Some gel polish brands have matching regular polish in the same colours…
So what I could do for my regular polish clients, is apply their manicure in this regular polish and then advise them – that they could get the same colour, but have it last 2-3 weeks…
Sometimes it takes a couple of suggestions, but eventually I could convince my polish clients to give it a try and they were always convinced on gel after…
Now you may not be someone who can regularly go to the salon, but if are currently using regular nail polish at home, a lot of companies offer matching polish to their at home gel products…
So if you wanted to try out particular colours from their ranges and if you want to give their gel products a try, you know that option is available…
I mean if you are going to spend the time painting your nails, why not apply something that’s going to last!
So if you need help getting started with gel polish, then be sure to watch the free videos in my Gel Preparation Masterclass….
It’s free and I guarantee you, it is nothing that any at home kit will tell you…
